چکیده
We present an electronic circuit whose dynamical properties emulate those of a resistively and capacitively shunted Josephson junction (RCSJ). show how it reproduces the switching its dependence on quality factor. A thermal noise source is then used to characterize temperature phase dynamics. In presence AC drive, locking observed at integer rational multiples drive frequency, competes with chaotic behavior when factor exceeds unity. stability phase-locked states in noise.

Nonlinear phase dynamics in a driven bosonic Josephson junction.
We study the collective dynamics of a driven two-mode Bose-Hubbard model in the Josephson interaction regime. The classical phase space is mixed, with chaotic and regular components, which determine the dynamical nature of the fringe visibility. For a weak off-resonant drive, where the chaotic component is small, the many-body dynamics corresponds to that of a Kapitza pendulum, with the relativ...
متن کاملAnti-phase locking in a two-dimensional Josephson junction array
We consider theoretically phase locking in a simple two-dimensional Josephson junction array consisting of two loops coupled via a joint line transverse to the bias current. Ring inductances are supposed to be small, and special emphasis is taken on the influence of external flux. Is is shown, that in the stable oscillation regime both cells oscillate with a phase shift equal to π (i.e. anti-ph...
متن کاملPhase Transition and Critical Dynamics in Diluted Josephson Junction Arrays
Measurements of the IV characteristics of site-diluted Josephson-junction arrays have revealed intriguing effects of percolative disorder on the phase transition and the vortex dynamics in a twodimensional XY system. Different from other types of phase transitions, the Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) transition was eliminated with the introduction of percolative disorder far below the percolation thre...
متن کاملNoise-induced dephasing of an ac-driven Josephson junction.
We consider the phase-locked dynamics of a Josephson junction driven by finite-spectral-linewidth ac current. By means of a transformation, the effect of frequency fluctuations is reduced to an effective additive noise, the corresponding (large) dephasing time being determined, in the logarithmic approximation, by the Kramers expression for the lifetime. For sufficiently small values of the dri...
